Run With Batya is the only all-women's race in a beautiful private setting with a 5k (3.1 mile) and 10k (6.2 mile) option, open to women and girls of all ages who are willing to take up the challenge! To partner in transforming the lives of teenage girls, all you need to do is sign up, commit to the fundraising minimum, and we will provide all you need to make it a great experience.
WHAT IS BATYA?
Batya is a network for teenage girls, empowering the future of Jewish women with a strong supportive network, transformative learning experiences, and actualization of inner strengths and skills. With branches in many states, Batya's programs give teens the opportunity to explore the wonder within themselves, building enduring relationships and developing a true sense of pride and identity as a person and as a Jew.
HOW CAN I BE A PART OF IT?
Complete the online application and we will contact you within 48 hours to get you started. Runners receive a startup packet and also have an assigned run ambassador who will be available for any questions, concerns and guidance.

WHAT IF I'M NOT A RUNNER?
Jogging, walking and sprinting are all common methods used at the Run. Remember, your goal is to complete the race at your own pace, even if you are not an experienced runner. We will work with you to set realistic goals and training programs, with our novice training plan option designed to help you succeed.

Motivated to complete their goal for a great cause, participants include runners and walkers at all skill levels; you will not be alone!

WHAT IS THE YOUNG AT HEART OPTION?
Opting for this group will give you the opportunity to participate with like-minded peers who are more comparable to your energy level. The team will have its own (earlier) start time and its own winners!

We believe that women of any age can set goals and reach them and Young at Heart makes it easier to do that! Any runner in that age group who opts to join the regular run is welcome to do so as well.

WHAT IS THE WOMEN'S HEALTH INITIATIVE?
The goal of our Health Initiative is to encourage a culture of health awareness among women, just like we build a culture of caring and acceptance for teenage girls. In addition to the coaching services that The Run is providing, we have a licensed dietician on staff to promote women's nutritional health. On Your Health Spot, you'll have access to health information and advice provided by a spectrum of professionals.
HOW DOES THE FUNDRAISING WORK?
Participants in Run With Batya commit to raising a minimum of $1,000 when they register for the race. Our materials and suggestions simplify the process and enable you to reach your personal goal. You'll have the benefit of our proven strategies for reaching potential donors as well a personal webpage on our site for online contributions. Throughout the campaign we will be offering incentives and perks for achieving different sponsorship goals.

Experience has shown that it is not only possible, but easy to reach this goal.
