Since the פטירה of our beloved Rosh HaYeshiva, Harav Yaakov Zelinger זצ״ל, his lifelong devotion continues to define Yeshiva & Mesivta Toras Emes Kamenitz. Rav Zelinger lived for the Yeshiva and devoted his entire life to Torah and to the chinuch of his talmidim.
His connection to the Yeshiva began as a young talmid in kindergarten and continued throughout his life. Together with his Rebbetzin ‘שתחי, he lived and breathed the Yeshiva. His מסירות נפש was legendary, and every aspect of the Yeshiva reflects the dedication, care, and unwavering commitment he invested in its talmidim and its mission.
It is most fitting that the Yeshiva is writing a Sefer Torah לזכר נשמתו. This Sefer Torah honors the Torah to which he devoted his life and ensures that his dedication continues to inspire future generations. Each letter stands as a lasting tribute to his devotion and the enduring impact he had on Yeshiva & Mesivta Toras Emes Kamenitz.
