8th Annual Campaign benefiting Widows and orphans!

Previously known as & Inspired by the Shield of David Orphanage home, we started this Charity fund 8 Years ago L'N my Grandmother Alice Rishty and her sisters A'H.
Back in the 1920s & 30s My Grandmother was one of 6 Sisters who grew up in a Jewish Orphanage home in the Bronx called the "Shield of David".
Because of the major support received from the Jewish Community, these girls defied all odds and each one went on to build families that are the heart and soul of our community today.

Every year we collect money that will be distributed to Orphaned and Widowed Families who can really use the financial help with Purim and Pesach holidays approaching.

With the direction of our Community Rabbis, 100% of the money collected will go directly to these community families that are in desperate need of this support.

We know that Orphans and widows are very special to Hashem & anyone who goes out of their way to help them will surely be blessed!
