The Organization for the Resolution of Agunot is the only nonprofit in the United States working to free agunot on a case by case basis worldwide. Through education and advocacy, ORA seeks to see that agunot became a thing of the past. ORA has freed 340 agunot, fielded thousands of calls for help, and educated more than 22,000 students and community members. On Purim, we remember Esther, an ancient Jewish heroine who freed the Jewish people from the hands of Haman. At ORA, we see each woman freed as a modern day Esther. These women have fought relentlessly to be freed, and with your help, we can see that they have the chance to start over. Cast your lot and support ORA in our first raffle event, and help end the agunah pandemic today.
