We teach our Talmidim to appreciate how blessed they are to be raised by parents who understand the importance of Torah in their lives, parents who partner with us to instill the love of Torah, parents who received this Mesorah from their parents in a chain stretching back to Har Sinai. We see this Mesorah each day on the faces of our Talmidim.
What is a fitting way to commemorate this unbroken chain? The Mesorah Torah. With Hashem's help, Heichal HaTorah has commissioned a special Sefer Torah dedicated to the unbroken bonds between grandparents and their grandchildren. Each grandparent, hand in hand with their grandchild, will stand before this special Sefer Torah and complete one of the final letters, forever joining together their links in the chain. For the rest of his life, each Talmid will remember that he was at Har Sinai because the chain was linked to him by his grandparents.
