When a child loses a parent, they don’t just lose them once.
They experience the pain of that loss again and again and again, in thousands of tiny moments.
Every milestone, every family simcha, every challenge and struggle and achievement that makes them long for their parent’s presence… it’s as if their parent just died all over again.
There’s no replacement for a parent, but in their absence — family steps in.
To acknowledge the void and witness the pain. To guide. To encourage. To provide security and support.
To let them know: You are not alone. We are family, and family is forever.
At Links Family, we know that no two children will experience their loss in the same way… but every child deserves to be seen and companioned throughout their unique journey with grief.
That’s why every boy and girl — every baby, toddler, child, teen and young adult — is seen and supported in the way that suits them best, with the individualized care that only family can provide.
We’re the family that stays to companion their grief, to champion their growth, and take pride in the resilient adults they become.

When I first joined Links, I honestly didn’t know what to expect.
I had just lost my mother, and it hasn’t even been a year. I was trying to figure out this whole new version of life while still processing what had happened.
And then there was Links.
I never expected an organization to become such a big part of my life so quickly. But it did. Between the Shabbatons, the programs, the people I’ve met, the conversations, the laughs, and even the random little moments in between, Links has given me a lot of memories I’m really grateful for.
But it’s the people that really got me.
There’s something different about being around people who understand what you’re going through without you having to explain everything. I can show up as myself. I can laugh, be serious, be awkward, whatever. I just feel comfortable.
Somehow, in less than a year, Links went from being a place I went to… to a place that feels like family.
I know how much that can mean, because I’ve felt it myself.
So I wanted to give something back. If this campaign can help Links be there for even one person the way they’ve been there for me, that would mean a lot.
And honestly, that’s why I’m doing this. ❤️
