Humble, but with heart
On the fifth of April 2018, Rabbi Chaim Lubin Shlit'a turned his home into a place of heart. He set out to create a sanctuary where people of all ages and stages would be accepted and loved. Together they would Daven and learn and serve Hashem with heart and soul. It wouldn't be just a Shul. It would be a safe haven for every family. It would be an address where every Jew felt wanted and needed. It would be a place where every man felt the heart and the warmth, had a listening ear and a supportive group. It would be K'hal Jackson Pines.
The crowd was drawn to his warmth.

For three years the house stretched and stretched to accommodate the Shul's growth. And then came the day when it could no longer hold the influx of Yidden eager to bask in the Rav's warmth and be a part of a Kehillah that resembled more of a family than a congregation. K'hal Jackson Pines needed more space. On Erev Yom Kippur 5782, a tent was erected. The joy was palpable as the Rav and his devout Kehillah transitioned from his home to the next chapter in the heartfelt journey.
Today, as we bask in the growth, we reflect.
We reflect on every day of T'filla. We reflect on every moment of Torah. But most of all, we bask in the family we've built, the community we've established. And we acknowledge that we have once again outgrown our premises. We affirm that in order to continue giving our Kehillah a feeling of belonging, in a Shul where they are seen, accepted and embraced for who they are, we simply need a larger space.
K'hal Jackson Pines needs to expand its heart and its home once again. We need to continue building the foundation of our community.
