In an incredible display of achdus and kindness, the $1.2 million keren was successfully established.
Our next mission is to help the family with the much needed stability of a proper home to live in. Currently, *the yesomim must walk over 45 minutes for every tefila on shabbos to say kaddish*. They live far from any neighbors, community, and Rov. That is an untenable situation for an almana and 7 yesomim.
A very generous donor contributed a valuable lot in a neighborhood where she will be surrounded by a caring community and loving friends. Many professionals are already at work, free of charge, to make this home a reality. We must raise an additional $450k to complete this home and set this wonderful family up to allow them to manage without their beloved husband/father in the best circumstances possible.
