Meet Meirav
At ten years old, Meirav was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare cancer that affects the arms and legs. In April 2018, after eight years of recovery and rehabilitation, Meirav has yet to regain function in her right leg and was suffering from complications. The doctors decided amputating Meirav's right leg was the best option. Today, Meirav, gets around with the help of crutches or a wheelchair. Through your participation and generosity, we can raise the $75,000 needed to get Meirav the life changing prosthetics, medical care and therapeutic support that she deserves.

About The Next Step

The Next Step was founded in 2015 by the Israel Medical Fund (IMF a non-for-profit 501c3 organization), and is the sole organization in Israel
which supports and rehabilitates children and adults suffering from limb-loss. Whether a survivor of a terrorist attack, a soldier with a combat injury,
a child with a birth defect, or a patient recovering from terrible illness, we are here for these special people every step of the way, with cutting edge medical care, state-of-the-art prosthetics, and therapies that make all the difference.
