Memorializing the Lasting Impact of Mrs. Gitty Friedman a"h
Mesivta Ohr Chaim Meir of Lakewood has embarked on an ambitious building project to erect a beautiful, state-of-the-art new building that will be an ideal setting for the continued growth and development of the talmidim.
The yeshiva's new building will be named Binyan Ohel Gittel, The Mrs. Gitty Friedman Building, in loving memory of Mrs. Gitty Friedman a"h, wife of our dear chaver, Rʼ Naftuli Friedman, and mother of the esteemed Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Shimon Friedman.
In her abbreviated yet highly fulfilling and productive lifetime, Mrs. Friedman epitomized what it means to be a true eishes chayil. She was a full partner with Rʼ Naftuli in all of his many Torah, chesed and tzedakah endeavors, always standing at his side in his myriad hachzakas haTorah initiatives. Mrs. Friedman was extremely proud of her children's accomplishments in transmitting Torah to the next generation and serving as paragons of chesed, carrying forth the illustrious legacy she and Rʼ Naftuli instilled in them. Mesivta Ohr Chaim Meir carried a special place in her heart. She played a leading role in the yeshiva's success, dedicating her time, talents and boundless energy to assist the yeshiva in so many ways.
Bearing her illustrious name, the yeshiva's new state-of-the-art building will serve as the ultimate perpetuation of her unforgettable legacy. Numerous sponsorship opportunities are available for the campaign. This is an incredible opportunity to partner with the Friedman family and perpetuate the legacy of this remarkable woman. A plaque with your name will be displayed on the Donor Wall in the lobby of the new building as a proud testament to your alliance with the Friedman family in their amazing avodas hakodesh.
