Avraham Ringelheim a”h lived a life of chessed, giving and friendship. True to his namesake, our dear patriarch of the family always made helping others a priority: spending hours on the phone nightly calling the lonely and job hunting for those out of work. With his quick wit, genuine concern and interest in people he was able to give hope, comfort and practical advice to all those who needed it. This is a lesson we wholly absorbed growing up in a home with such a role-model.
It is with this inspiration and a responsibility to this noble legacy, that a new organization, Eishel Avraham TTI, was created by his family. This chesed initiative will stand as an enduring memory of the exemplary kindness of our father and will hopefully be a true merit to his soul.
Eishel Avraham TTI is a chessed organization open to supporting the spirit and needs of the members of the Dallas Jewish Community. Eishel’s first project is to provide compassionate assistance for grieving families. Eishel, in conjunction with the staff and students of Texas Torah Institute, is available to supply the needs for a shiva house. We will be able to provide siddurim, shiva chairs, and now with the dedication of this Torah, an accessible Torah for house shiva minyanim.
Please help us honor the legacy and memory of Avi Ringelheim by taking part in dedicating this special Torah.
