1. Eligibility
To participate in the Ahavas Chaya raffle, you must be 18 years or older. By entering, you confirm that you meet the age requirement and agree to abide by these terms. The raffle is limited to 318 total donations; once all donations are received, no additional donations will be accepted for entry.
2. Entry Process & Donation Policy
Each donor will receive one exclusive number corresponding to their donation amount, which may range from $1 to $318. This number is exclusive to the donor and cannot be changed, transferred, or duplicated. Once a donation is processed, it is non-refundable and counts as a fully tax-deductible contribution. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your donation. In the event of any error, system mistake, or technical issue during the entry process, the raffle and drawing will remain valid, and Ahavas Chaya reserves the right to uphold all original donations and entries.
3. Drawing Process
The drawing will be conducted using www.wheelofnames.com, a random name/number picker to ensure full transparency. The drawing will be live-streamed on Zoom via a link we share. Within 48 hours of the draw, a message announcement will be sent to all donors revealing the winner. The results will also be posted in our WhatsApp Status.
4. No Purchase Necessary Alternative Entry
To enter without making a donation, you must submit an 8" x 10" handwritten postcard via certified mail ( the postcard must arrive prior to the last ticket being sold and during office hours) to:

The postcard must include your full legal name (as it appears on official documents, no nicknames allowed), phone number (no alternative contacts), current mailing address (complete with full ZIP code), a written acknowledgment that you are over 18 years old, and your date of birth (in MM/DD/YYYY format, no exceptions). Only one mail-in entry per person is permitted. Entries missing any required information will be automatically disqualified. Illegible, incomplete, or late entries will not be accepted, and we are not responsible for mail delivery issues.
5. Winner Notification & Requirements
The winner will be contacted via phone and email within 24 hours of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner will be drawn. The winner must provide a completed W-9 form for tax reporting purposes before receiving the prize. If the winner refuses to provide the required tax information, they will forfeit the prize, and a new winner will be drawn. A 1099-MISC form will be issued at the end of the year, as the value of the prize is considered taxable income and by submitting your entry, any winner accepts the taxable liability.
6. Publicity & Promotional Consent
By entering, you expressly consent to Ahavas Chaya using your name, image, and likeness for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, marketing materials, and donor updates. If you are selected as a winner, you agree to provide a photo and/or video for public announcement and promotional content. We reserve the right to redraw a winner if they refuse to be publicized.
7. Raffle Cancellation & Refund Policy
If the raffle is canceled for any reason, or if we don't hit our goal to draw by the specified date/time, all donations will be fully refunded.
8. Disclaimer Regarding Prizes
Ahavas Chaya is not affiliated with the manufacturer or authorized distributors of any prizes. The prize is offered as-is with no warranty or guarantee beyond what is provided by the original manufacturer. Winners are advised to refer to the manufacturer's warranty and terms of use for any relevant information.
9. Communication Agreement
By clicking the agreement box and processing your donation, you agree to comply with all the terms stated above and to receive texts/emails from our organization, including marketing communications via email and/or SMS.
