After a short illness, Brooklyn lost one of it’s crown jewels Reb Ahron Shain Z”L, a budding Talmid Chochom of 28 years old and a father of 2 adorable little girls.
Reb Ahron Z’L grew up at the home of his distinguished parents Reb Dovid Shain and his Rebetzin. Reb Dovid was a second grade Rebbi in Mirrer Yeshiva for many years and is part of the Flatbush community. The Niftar learned in the Mirrer Yeshiva and from there he went to Yeshiva Yesodei Hatorah in Lakewood where he grew tremendously under the Rosh Yeshiva Horav Yeshaya Treff. The last five years he was part of the Kollel in Yeshivas Derech Chaim in Brooklyn NY. His positive attitude was seen at home and in the walls of the Yeshiva as well. Reb Ahron Z”L with his infectious smile and lev tov made a deep impression on many people from all walks of life. Many of the Maspidim by the well attended Levaya all spoke of Ahron’s tremendous Hasmada, Emuna and Bitachon. He was known to always encourage others to strengthen their Emunah and Bitachon as well.
He got married to his wife Kaila Meira who came into the marriage with strong roots, growing up at the home of her distinguished parents Reb Avraham Weisberger a known Talmid Chacham and his Chasuva wife.
Reb Aharon and his wife were blessed with two adorable little girls Sarah Leah, 2 yrs old and Chava Yehudis just 5 months old, they were looking forward to building a beautiful Family and sharing many happy years together.
Even while fighting for Ahron’s life they continued with their Emuna and Bitachon. On his last Friday night in the hospital they were singing Shabbos Zemiros together and Ahron Z’L was expected to have a life saving liver transplant on Shabbos day but his condition took a turn for the worst. On shabbos morning he collapsed and was niftar shortly after shabbos.
While the Almanah will have many happy memories of her husband R Ahron Z’L, Sarah Leah and Chava Yehudis are unfortunately never going to know their father who loved them so much and they meant everything to him. They will never be able to watch their Totty come home from Shul or Yeshiva, play with them, be there for them, hug them or give them a Bracha Friday Night. They are facing all of life's milestones and event’s without their loving Totty Z’L.
While there is very little we can do to ease their pain since we all know a Totty is irreplaceable, it is our responsibility as a community, as Klal Yisroel, to ensure that this heartbroken family will not face financial collapse. The funds raised will ensure that the Almanah is able to devote herself as a Mommy to these adorable little Yesomos, deal with all their needs and ensure that besides all other worries they have, she should not have to deal with financial worries.
In the merit of your generous kindness, may you and your family know of no pain or suffering and always be on the giving side.
This Keren is under the Haskamah and guidance of Rabbi Rennert Rosh Yeshiva of Derech Chaim and Rabbi Treff Rosh Yeshiva Yesodei Hatorah in Lakewood.
