Mesivta Of Houston is a first-class Mesivta that services the broad Houston community. The objective of the Mesivta is to empower its students with excellence in Limudei Kodesh and General Studies in a warm, caring and positive environment. At the Mesivta, we strive to develop complete Bnei Torah who will have both confidence and enthusiasm in learning, refined middos, and a passion for Yiddishkeit, as well as a stellar secular education. We put a tremendous focus on the individual needs of every Talmid, doing the utmost to enable each student to maximize his potential, and we arm the Talmidim with the tools necessary for a successful and happy future.

The Ride For Mesivta Bike-A-Thon was created by the leader of our community's Bike-For-Chai Team Houston. One week before the big event this year, R' Andy Serotta, who also sits on the Mesivta's Board Of Directors, was significantly injured in a biking accident. Having to miss the ride while recovering, he approached the Mesivta to create a local, Texas bike ride to benefit an institution close to his heart. The rest of the team was excited to join and make this event a reality.

We will be biking through Texas Hill Country from the scenic La Grange area (west of Houston) along the Colorado River to the mountainous Austin parks. The route also includes much of the well-known, historic MS-150 bike ride. This is set to be a challenging ride with a choice between an 85-mile route and a more difficult 126-mile option. We have also added a 40-mile route by popular demand. There will be adequate rest stops and SAG support along the way. The riders will be bussed to Houston at the completion of the ride to rest up before an exciting end-of-ride celebration and award ceremony.

We appreciate everyone's support in this exciting event and would love for you to take part!
