A carefully-designed daily schedule, fresh daily meals, subsidized daycare under kollel auspices, a dorm to rest during bein hasedarim: whatever the need, Kollel Cheshek Shlomo anticipates it.
The 50 handpicked yungeleit, who each pass an oral bechinah on 250 blatt before joining, complete entire masechtos with regular chazaros and bechinos to foster accountability.

Kollel Through Corona

Due to the kollel’s unstinting efforts, the yungeleit have the yishuv hadaas to meet the kollel’s high expectations in both hasmadah and achievement. In one example, over one 3-day break comprising Purim, Shushan Purim, and Shabbos, the yungeleit reviewed the entire Maseches Gittin with Gemara, Rashi and Tosafos. On a day-to-day level, the intensity of their hasmadah manifests as an electric atmosphere in the beis medrash and enables tremendous accomplishments in both depth and breadth of learning. Even during the height of the pandemic, the hasmadah of the dedicated yungeleit of the kollel never flagged, as they voluntarily entered a group quarantine, bringing their whole families to upstate NY in spartan accommodations.
