Chesed 24/7 serves the community literally 24 hours a day, seven days a week. WE NEVER CLOSE!
Right now at this challenging time, Chesed 24/7 is in Mt. Sinai, and Cornell, and Sloan Kettering and more, helping people you know.

Being in the hospital is challenging - especially for Shabbat and Kashrut-observant patients and their loved ones. Patients feel lonely and vulnerable, and kosher hospital meals are not very tempting. It's hardest on Shabbat and holidays, when beeping monitors and bright lights make it hard to feel the holiness and peace of the day.
Chesed 24/7 transforms the hospital experience, and provides the food, comfort and religious essentials that make all the difference.
On Rosh Hashanah, in addition to holiday meals, the hospitality rooms are stocked with apples, honey, shofars and prayer books. On Yom Kippur there are (Ashkenazi and Sephardic!) prayer books and food for after the fast. On Sukkot, there's a beautiful sukkah, lulavs and etrogs - and so on. That is in addition to the delicious meals sent to patient bedsides, the hospital liaison services that guide patients and their families through the confusion of medical care, and so much more.
For the past four years, the community has been hosting a summertime breakfast reception benefiting Chesed 24/7. Hosts have included Ken Cayre, Chaby and Nicole Orfali, Joseph and Victoria Sutton and the Sutton family, in memory of Mr. Alfred Sutton, a"h, and David and Monique Haddad.
This year, COVID-19 has made it impossible to hold the breakfast - so we're hosting it online!
The "On a Roll" Virtual Breakfast Reception follows a highly successful summer campaign in which hundreds of thousands of dollars were raised through the "Shabbos Box Packing Campaign." That campaign targeted smaller donors, who purchased raffle entries starting at $36.
The "On a Roll" campaign is reaching out to philanthropists and donors, so that they can be part of an organization that is there for the community literally 24/7. It will fund the hospital rooms, liaisons and other major projects of Chesed 24/7.
Your participation makes you a partner in the misva of bikur holim, every single day and grants you a merit for blessings of life, health and prosperity as you usher in the New Year.
Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, Chesed 24/7 is Constantly Caring.
