Reb Binyomin Wilhelm zt”l, after transforming the Torah world of America by founding Yeshiva
Torah Vodaas, was heartbroken to witness Sefardic children in Eretz Yisroel not receiving a Jewish
education, causing them to turn away from Yiddishkeit. He reacted by establishing the
groundbreaking Mifal Torah Vodaas organization to provide after-school programs to
teach children who are in nominally frum schools about Torah, mitzvos and the beauty
of Yiddishkeit.
Thanks to his vision, thousands of Mifal children have grown
into religious Jews. Whether they are bnei Torah, talmidei chachomim and Torah leaders, or taxi
drivers, repairmen and barbers, they are proud members of their communities, raising the next
generation of frum Jews.
