From Mesivta to Bais Medrash and Beyond - Aliyah for a Lifetime
Mesivta Gaon Yaakov has earned itself a sterling reputation - and rightfully so.The Yeshiva and its Hanhala stop at nothing to ensure the success and hatzlachah of every bochur, and the proof is in their Talmidim.
One need only observe the growth of a bochur as he ascends the ladder of aliyah through his years in Gaon Yaakov and one will see a palpable, extraordinary transformation.
It is for this reason that the yeshivah's addition this year of a new bais medrash is so significant. By enabling the twelfth-grade bochurim to continue on within the Gaon Yaakov "style," the rosh yeshiva and hanhalah demonstrate that they recognize the importance of "holding on" to their bochurim - the boys they've guided and nurtured for four years, turning them into the exemplary bnei Torah we see today.
The Bais Medrash allows this outstanding yeshiva to continue what it started, further cultivating the inherent abilities of each bochur, turning them from mesivta bochurim into bais medrash bochurim, sources of tremendous pride to their parents and families.
