Mapleshade Shul, led by our Rov, Harav Moshe Boruch Kaufman Shlita, was founded a few years ago by a group of young pioneers who embarked on a mission of establishing a community with a Torah atmosphere in South Toms River, known as Mapleshade.
Within a few years, our community has grown to almost 100 families B'siyata D'Shmaya.
Daily and Shabbos minyanim, a night Kollel, shiurim, Avos U'Banim programs, and many other communal events are testaments to the thriving nature of our shul. Currently, we have outgrown our rented space and are in great need to also centralize our location so more members could join us on Shabbos as well.
B"H, we now have the opportunity to purchase an off-market property for a reasonable price. The property will adequately house a shul that would comfortably fit our needs. In addition, there are plans to build a Mikvah which would be the first one in the area within reasonable walking distance.
The community has undertaken to raise $300,000. The first $180,000 will cover both the down payment to pay for the property as well as renovation costs for the current structure on the property. The additional $120,00 in our goal will go towards building a Mikvah on the shul property.
The community has actively undertaken to contribute as much as they can, but they cannot do it alone. We are reaching out to Klal Yisroel for support to help make this a reality.
Please extend a helping hand to Maple Shade Shul and become a partner in the explosive growth of Torah in South Toms River.
