Everyone who knows me, knows that I am driven to help others. When I come across a family or individual in great need, I do all I can to help them.
My deep desire to help others is a product of my own upbringing and personal situation. As you may know, I have experienced many difficulties and much suffering in my life. Being born and raised in Lev Tahor, I suffered much trauma in my youth. Boruch Hashem, I successfully left that sect many years ago. I am forever grateful to all those who helped me in my time of need, and I try to reciprocate by helping others dealing with crisis and pain.
There are a number of families in Lakewood that I am personally acquainted with who are facing severe financial problems, due to severe circumstances well beyond their control. I have taken upon myself to help them and have been doing so from my own resources for quite a while.
While I am far from wealthy, I have been personally supporting these families for a long time, with the guidance of rabbanim and askanim. Most of the money I make goes directly to providing these families with basic necessities, which allow them to survive and function on a day-to-day basis.
Since I am not a man of means, it is untenable for me to continue supporting these families on my own, as much as I wish I could. Therefore, I am turning to my friends and offering them the opportunity to become my partners in this great mitzvah. I would be honored to have you join me in saving these dear Yidden from desperation.
I humbly ask you to please consider sending a monthly or one-time donation. In the zechus of your generosity, may we only share in simchos together.
Sincerely,
Refoel Kenig
