Extend Your Reach was created in 2022 to bridge the gap between community members who have charity to give, and individuals and organizations who are in dire need for help and don't know where to turn. To date, the organization has been able to help approximately 200 families and small organizations. Not all forms of charity are created equal. Extend Your Reach allows its donors to fulfill the commandment of charity in one of the most optimal ways; where the supporter does not know the recipient, and the recipient does not know the supporter. The Gemara (Baba Batra, 10B) states: Who will be saved from unnatural deaths? One who gives charity in secrecy, when the person giving doesn't know the receiver, and when the receiver doesn't know who the giver is.
