Eli's simchas hachaim was tangible and contagious, being together with him was an uplifting experience. Eli didn't always have it easy, coming from LA to our Yeshiva was challenging for him. However, Eli's determination, his will to shteig and simchas hachaim helped him through all challenges. He became a very close talmid of the Rosh Hayeshiva and his Rischa D'oraisa and Simchas Hatorah lit up our bais medrash. He later became a Rebbi in Rabbi Harrari's Yeshiva.
Eli's love for all people was tremendous. While speaking to him you felt as if you were the greatest person in the world, he cherished every word someone else said. He was always the first one to help a friend, a younger bochur in yeshiva, or anyone he met.
Unfortunately, Eli's and his wife's tragic Petirah came at the happiest time in their lives, newlywed and expecting a simcha.

We Eli's Friends are determined to make sure Eli's legacy lives on. We have taken upon ourselves to dedicate the Bais Medrash in Yeshiva Gedolah Shaarei Shmuel (Rabbi Gellerman), where Eli learnt and infused the bais medrash with a tremendous Ruach Hatorah, so he can continue being elevated with all the learning and מעשים טובים being done in his Bais Medrash.
