Bais Yaakov of Queens invites you to join us for a very special evening
A master mechanech, a gadol in chinuch habanos, Rabbi Neuman זצ"ל devoted his heart and soul to thousands of talmidos at Bais Yaakov of Queens, creating an eternal legacy by inspiring the finest bnos Yisroel to build beautiful Jewish homes. His genuine warmth, cheerful countenance and trademark smile masked his greatness as a brilliant, visionary mechanech and superior mensch. Cherished by parents, teachers and students alike for his palpable compassion and concern for every individual, Rabbi Neuman lovingly nurtured a fledgling school that started with 27 students into today's revered and flourishing Bais Yaakov of almost 800 talmidos קע"ה, and growing. יהא זכרו ברוך

Pillars of the community, Mr. and Mrs. Sdayeb are an amazing couple who are truly devoted to many worthy causes in Queens and beyond. Moshe, a talmid of Rav Aharon Walkin זצ"ל, is an active member of the boards of Kollel Zichron Moshe v'Leah and Chazaq. The Sdayebs have also generously supported countless mosdos: Or HaTorah, Od Yosef Chai, and Hatzoloh, among many others. Proud parents of a lovely mishpocha that includes three BYQ talmidos, they have graciously lent their שם טוב as worthy Guests of Honor to ensure the success of this year's dinner campaign.
As exceptional and experienced professionals, Mrs. Pacht and Mrs. Schonfeld have provided over three decades of outstanding education to our talmidos.
As the sixth grade Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Pacht infuses her curriculum of Ancient World History with life, making it interesting, relevant and fun for her students while paralleling the eras she teaches with significant events and figures in the history of Klal Yisroel. Her Artifact Fair affords the opportunity for each student to celebrate her personal family history while feeling united with her peers and their families. Knowledgeable about history - and life in general - her students know that Mrs. Pacht is a gem of a person with a listening ear and heart, treats them as maturing adults and sets attainable goals that will serve them well in the future. We extend our sincerest brachos to Mr. and Mrs. Yossi and Naomi Pacht for many years of gezunt to enjoy much Yiddishe Nachas from their wonderful mishpocha.
Vibrant, full of life and depth, it is obvious that Mrs. Schonfeld loves teaching first grade. Her positivity, creativity and sensitivity, sprinkled with her gentle humor, inspire and encourage her young charges to thrive and achieve, fulfilling their potential as young readers and writers. Every lesson shines with her efforts and every child glows from her sincerely offered praise. The books her students author are filled with their imaginative stories and colorful drawings, a tribute to Mrs. Schonfeld's unmatched skill not only as a teacher, but as an educator who ably nurtures the strengths and abilities of each child in her care. A couple deeply cherished by the Queens community, we wish Rabbi Yoel and Peri Schonfeld only gezunt, Yiddishe Nachas and hatzlocha עד מאה ועשרים שנה.
